Yes. Classroom Mode is free to use, needs no account, and runs on the teacher's device.

Where are student names stored?

The roster stays in this browser's local storage. Classroom Mode does not send student names to the server.

How many students can I add to a class?

A class can have up to 40 students.

Do students need their own devices?

No. One teacher device connected to a projector or shared screen is enough.
